The founder of the Institute of Neuroaesthetics (2001), headquartered in Berkeley (California, USA), he is a professor of neuroaesthetics at University College London and the Director of the Wellcome Laboratory of Neurobiology (VisLab), both in the United Kingdom.
Dr. Zeki is the creator of the concept of neuroaesthetics, which aims to establish the biological and neurological bases of the aesthetic experience.
