PRICE FURTHER REDUCED! SELLER HAS MOVED SOUTH AND WANTS THE BOAT SOLD... The first Edey & Duff fiberglass Stone Horse was launched in 1969, and the production run of 150 boats would last until 1995. Only two hulls have been known to be lost. The boat became popular with daysailors and weekend cruisers, who prized it for its classic good looks, dependable performance, comfort, seaworthiness and ease of handling. Few boats have changed hands and most remain close to home on the New England coast. The boat was designed to be a stable but quietly fast cruiser that can be easily crewed by a couple. At 23 feet, 4 inches on deck, the Stone Horse sports a full , -hung with through transom steering, inboard auxiliary engine and raised deck. This reliable pocket cruiser is ready for her next adventure. A legend in its time and with only 148 Stone Horses left in the wild, an opportunity to acquire your very own.

Accomodations

Befitting a comfortable coastal cruiser, where most hours are spent above decks, the cockpit is spacious. It is nearly 8 feet long and extends full beam, with high coamings and lounging against a foot well for sitting. All lines are led to the forward bulkhead and can be reached from the helm. Despite the raised forward deck, free- board is only two feet at the cockpit, facilitating a man overboard recovery. The raised deck makes for four feet of headroom below, and the open forward berth features port and starboard reversible cushions measuring 6 feet, 6 inches on centerline. Tucked between the V-berth aft is a portable toilet conveniently hidden by a removable "throne". To starboard, in what would be considered the saloon, is a "sumptuous seat" next to the galley counter. While to port is more galley counter space with a sink, water pump and icebox. Aft are two child-sized cushioned quarter berths flanking the auxiliary engine, which is accessible through a hatch in the bridge deck.
