FRAME A DESIGN

THE PROJECT

With his Snaidero design FrameFrame, the architect Iosa Ghini puts a boldly contemporary slant on the classic kitchen. A neoneoneo-neo ---chicchicchicchic style which references and updates certain iconic elements of classic design, making them more functional too: the framed door ameliorated with recessed handles, the use of glossy and matte lacquer finishes to subtly bring out the exquisite beauty of the surface tops and the large extractor hood, available in bronze or stainless steel, providing the work area of the kitchen with a stylishly characterful focal point. A world-class kitchen that everyone can tune into regardless of cultural background.

SIGNATURE FEATURES

THE GRANDEUR OF THE FRAMED DOOR AND THE MODERNITY OF THE FINGER RAIL

As a project, Frame perfectly encapsulates a “ classic contemporary ” style; it is a design which re- imagines traditional heritage furnishings and turns them into functional pieces with a modern and refined aesthetic. The cabinet has a classic framed door, whilst the recessed handles exude a modern air, a sharp clean silhouette and a timeless appeal.

THE EXTRACTOR HOOD: CHARACTER AND FUNCTION The range hood is an essential design feature. In popular imagination, it represents the hearth and hub of family life. It comes in a 90, 120 or 180-cm wallmounted version or 150-cm island hood version with either a bronze or stainless-steel finish. It is cased in a metal structure and this design feature crops up again on the island and peninsula support and under the wall units, giving the whole project a rare appeal.

FURNITURE WITH A CLASSIC FEEL The warm welcoming atmosphere of the Frame kitchen also transpires from the pieces of furniture decorating the spaces which encroach into the living area: sideboards with glass doors, display cabinets and open cupboards all add beauty to the surrounds.

INDUSTRIAL-CHIC DETAILS Metal elements available in a whole range of finishes - lacquered, bronze, stainless steel and pewter - put a functional and aesthetic stamp on the project, turning up at carefully defined points between the wall units, base units, cupboards or island, or just standing on their own right as living-room furniture items.

DESIGN FLEXIBILITY AND A TAILOR-MADE APPROACH The project offers an astounding range of finishes and materials for the cabinets (all the matte, glossy and mica-based lacquers and two refined wood options) and boasts extraordinary design

versatility which means that the project can be adapted to everyone’s requirements, catering for a quiet classic taste right through to a more upbeat modern and industrial-chic version.
