Getting Around Vancouver

Transit Information Purchasing Tickets: • Busses require EXACT CHANGE. • Ticket vendors at Skytrain stations coins, bills (up to $20), debit/ credit cards • Single tickets and DayPasses are recommended over the Compass Card. • One-Zone fares ($2.75 adult or $1.75 concession) valid on: o All busses at all times o Skytrain rides after 6:30pm on weekdays or all day on weekends • Keep your ticket with you throughout your trip as proof of purchase (you will also need it to exit the Skytrain station) *Single fares and DayPasses are subject to an additional $5 if purchased at YVR Airport Station or Sea Island Centre Station.

Transit from YVR Airport to UBC Campus (~1 hr 10 min. transit and walk) 1. Follow signs to Skytrain (YVR Airport Station) 2. Take the Skytrain “Canada Line to Waterfront” (8 stops) 3. Exit Skytrain at -City Hall Station, 20 min.) 4. Exit station to main road (Cambie St. and West Broadway) 5. The bus stop is diagonally across the station 6. Take the 99 UBC B-Line bus (Bus Stop Id: 58501). This bus stop is in front of Blenz Coffee. (7 stops, 30 min.) 7. Ride bus to final stop (UBC Loop Bay 4)

*There are two bus loops at UBC. This route takes you to the North Bus Loop. The Trolley Bus Loop, also called the “new” bus loop (5 min. walk from North Bus Loop), is only for busses #4, 14, 9, N17. Please see UBC Loop image below.

UBC Bus Loop Bay 4 to Ponderosa Commons Cedar House (~12 min. walk)

1. Head towards your right onto Student Union Blvd.

2. Walk along the sidewalk, past the Student Recreation Centre.

3. Continue on the left side of Student Union Blvd. You will pass by the “Old Student Union Building (SUB)”

4. Turn left onto East Mall. The UBC Bookstore will be on your left.

5. Turn right onto University Blvd.

6. Continue walking on University Blvd. Continue past the circular fountain called “The Pulse.”

7. Ponderosa Commons Cedar House will be on the left.
