DRESS Members are required to be neatly and tidily attired at all times on all parts of the Golf Course and in the Club House. Dress is to be of good quality with no offensive slogans etc. displayed. Collared shirts must be worn. No singlets allowed. Appropriate footwear must be worn at all times. The Club has a soft spike only policy. No metal spikes allowed. CONDITIONS OF PLAY FOR ALL MAJOR EVENTS MEN’S CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS. 4 Stroke Play Rounds May 1st – 22rd, 2021. Open to all 5 & 7 day financial members of the Club as at the 1st round. Lowest Aggregate score over three rounds will determine the winners of each grade who will be Club Champion in each grade. MEN’S FOURSOMES CHAMPIONSHIPS 18 Hole format for 2021. Played on 14th August , 2021. MEN’S & LADIES COMBINED SUMMER CUP. Commencing 5th January. Best three out five rounds from the Blue Tees for Men & Red Tees for Ladies. LADIES CHAMPIONSHIPS. Commencing 5th October 2021. To consist of the best three out of four rounds of stroke play for all grades. Players must report to the starter 15 minutes prior to the start. Open to all 5 & 7 day financial members of the Club as at the 1st round. Off the stick & Nett. Lowest Aggregate score will determine the winners of each grade who will be Club Champion in each grade. LADIES FOURSOMES CHAMPIONSHIPS. Off the stick & Nett. Tuesday $7.00 Comp fees over the two weeks which will go towards Trophies along with $50.00 kindly donated by Marg Dunn. HAZEL HUMBERDROSS 36 HOLE TROPHY. Ladies only. To be played in conjunction with comp of the day. 1ST Round 20th April 2021. 2nd Round 27th April. MAUREEN MacGILLIVRAY 4BBB CENTENARY CUP. Ladies only. 11th May.
The Match Committee reserves the right to vary and indeed change any of the Conditions of Play without prior notice. The decision(s) of the Match Committee shall be binding in all instances. PETER LEHMANN ORDER OF MERIT Run in conjunction with Monthly Medals (Saturday) from 3rd April – 2nd October inclusive. You will have 7 opportunities to gain points with the winner announced at presentation night. Points to be awarded as follows:- 10 points for winning day score, 9 points for one shot behind, 8 points for two shots behind and so on down to 1 point for 10 shots behind the winning score. (Tied scores will attract equal points). The Order of Merit winner will be the person with the most points accumulated over the 7 rounds. In the event of a tie the winner will be decided with the person with the most 10 point rounds and if still tied 9 point rounds and so on.
CONDITIONS OF NORMAL CLUB COMPETITION PLAY • Play will commence at the times shown on the booking sheet. • The Match Committee shall have the right to alter any competition conditions or cancel any competition event. • Where handicap events are played in conjunction with Championship events, players are only eligible to win one trophy. • Motorized golf vehicles are prohibited from bunkers, greens, tees, mounds and the areas immediately around the greens and are not to be driven within 5 meters of any green. • It is the responsibility of the owner of any non-club buggy to have their motorized vehicle adequately registered and insured against any liabilities. • The player with the lowest handicap shall be the ‘Captain’ of that match and is responsible for the observance of the rules of golf, local rules and course etiquette. • It is expected that ‘Captains” will call up following players when a ball proves difficult to find. • All players are required to carry a sand bucket and to fill divots, both their own, and others.
• Ball divot marks on the green are to be repaired before leaving to play the next hole. • Foot and club marks in bunkers are to be raked prior to leaving the bunker. Rakes should be left in the bunker at the nearest point of entry, and parallel to the direction of play. • Ground staff in the course of their duty have ‘right of way’ at all times. • Keep up with the group in front, not in front of the group behind. • Move quickly between shots and be ready when it is your turn to play. • Leave buggies on the side of the green nearest the access direction of the next tee. • Do not mark score cards on or next to the green that you have completed playing. • In other than stroke rounds, pick your ball up if you cannot score. • In accordance to the most recently amended rules of golf, play ‘ready golf’ as opposed to ‘honour’ system. • Bringing the Club into Disrepute in any way may bring you in front of the Disciplinary Panel. • Club Heat Policy dictates that on day where the forecasted temperature will be 38 degrees or higher the latest tee time is 9am for all players in the competition of the day. • BREACHES OF RULES OF GOLF OR CODE OF CONDUCT
1 Serious breaches of conduct, etiquette or rules of golf must be reported to Management in writing as soon as possible after the occurrence. Where a written complaint against a member is submitted to the Board or Management for alleged misconduct in the clubhouse or environs or on the course, the member in breach may be required to appear before a disciplinary panel comprising the President, Men and Women’s Captain and other appointees, as required. 2 The member alleged to have committed an act of misconduct shall be notified in writing within seven (7) days of the intention of the Disciplinary Panel to consider the complaint and they will be invited to appear and be heard in relation to the alleged offence. 3 Prior to the meeting, the alleged offender will be provided with a written copy of the complaint. At the meeting they will be permitted to put their case to the Panel. Witnesses may attend to support the complainant and/or the alleged offender. Failure to appear before the Disciplinary Panel or provide a reasonable written responce shall be deemed to be an acceptance of any decision and therefore acceptance of any penalty imposed by the Panel.
4 The member shall be advised of the decision of the Disciplinary Panel as soon as practicable after the meeting and any finding/decision will be confirmed in writing within seven (7) days. The considerations and decision of the Panel arising from the hearing shall be recorded. 5 Any proceedings within either the dealing with the complaint or any appeal remain strictly confidential. 6 Where a visitor commits an offence, Management will inform the player’s Home Club or Golf Association. 7 Members will be deemed responsible for the actions of their guest/s and must accept the ramifications of their guests conduct and actions either on the course or in the clubhouse and environs.
