Winner of international competition for site specific work Justice Birch, Chief Justice of Supreme Court of Tennessee, Nashville, TN Dr. Solomon Wallace, Masonic Leader, Ethel, created for Women’s Prison, Wilmington, Delaware, for Franciscan Brothers of Wilmington. Ethel was 97 years old at the time she posed for this sculpture. She went to the prison daily to pray with the inmates. The Brothers wished to ensure her presence for the women prisoners beyond her lifetime, as daily prayer with had great meaning for the inmates. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, City of Chester, PA, 4‐ft high bust of Dr. King for Peace Park Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. U.S. Embassy, Pretoria, with grant from National Endowment for the Arts and funding support from United States Information Agency for travel in Africa. This sculpture was smuggled into South Africa by Zenos as a political act for which he could have been imprisoned.
