Education

On 25th May 2000 master degree in Mechanical engineering discussing the thesis “Physical and Mathematical Modeling of air pollution dispersion for the estimation of the atmospheric pollution due to urban traffic”.

In January 2001 he has succeeded the examination for the professional qualification as Engineer and is enrolled to List of the Engineers of the Province of Turin from 20th February 2002 with registration number 8563 W.

Starting from January 1998 he has collaborated with Prof. Emilio Cafaro of Combustion systems at the Department of Energetic of the Polytechnic of Turin University dealing with the following problems:  tunnel ventilation;  dimensioning of safety systems (ventilation, survey fire, extinction fire, lighting system);  analysis of fire events in enclosures (buildings, tunnels);  dispersion of pollutants in atmosphere;  fire safety engineering  probabilistic analysis of risk.

Employment History

From December 1998 he has carried out consulting activity for the Microbel Srl Company in Turin Italy on the following problems:  dispersion of pollutants in atmosphere;  dispersion of pollutants in buildings;  building acoustics;  noise and vibrations for ventilation systems.

From February 2002 to March 2010 he has worked as freelance on the following topics and activities: • Fire safety engineering, • Ventilation and fire suppression system design, • Tunnel Risk Analysis, • applied research in thermalfluiddinamics, acoustic and of mechanics of the vibrations, • commercial software.

From April 2010 he has been recruited with the qualification of manger at the Prometeoengineering.it Srl (Limited) viale Mazzini 11, 00195 Rome Italy dealing with commitment 1 management from the technical (Design, Project Management) and commercial (Proposals, Negotiations) point of view for road, rail and metro tunnel electromechanical safety systems. In the framework of the carried activity in collaboration with the university and companies, softwares have been developed for the modeling of the of the process of dispersion of pollution in the open air and in tunnel, of fire events in enclosures, calculation of the risk in road and railway tunnels.

From January 2017 he stated his own activity related to ventilation and fire suppression systems design, IoT for tunnels, and Probabilistic Risk analysis. The goal is to provide a complete or partial service to big Engineering Companies and to develop the Dynamic Risk analysis to be adopted for tunnel operation.
