Bill Curry

Bill Curry led Alabama to the SEC title in 1989. He also was the recipient of numerous honors, including ACC Coach of the Year (1985), SEC Coach of the Year (1987 & '89), and the National Coach of the Year (1989).

Prior to his first head coaching assignment in college at , Curry spent three seasons in the NFL (1977-79) as an assistant coach to and the . Curry played pro football from 1965 to '74 with the Green Bay Packers (under the legendary ), Houston Oilers, Baltimore Colts and , and was an All-Pro center with the Colts in 1971 and '72.

A 1965 Georgia Tech graduate with a degree in industrial management, Curry also starred for the Yellow Jackets football squad from 1963-64. On June 11, 2008, Curry was chosen as Georgia State's first head football coach and they played their first season in 2010.

Merrianne Dyer With over 37 years as a teacher, coach, principal, and superintendent , Merrianne Dyer now leads professional development with school leaders across the US to implement the UCLA School Mental Health Project Comprehensive Systems of Support. Delivered through the services of Scholastic Education, the "Learning Supports Pathway" approach guides schools in aligning and integrating resources of the family, school, and community to address the challenges of trauma, mental health, poverty, and other barriers that children bring to school. Dr. Dyer is a Certified Dropout Prevention Specialist with the National Dropout Prevention Network which is an Innovative Partner with Scholastic.

Suzy Pepper Rollins

Suzy Pepper Rollins is a passionate lifelong educator whose mission is to create academic success for all learners by instilling instructional practices that provide widespread accessibility to the curriculum. Her mantra: Every child, every day, every way. Formerly the remedial education coordinator for Cobb County Schools in Marietta, Georgia, Suzy currently consults across the state. As the founder of Fast Lane Learning, she constructed and implemented Math in the Fast Lane, a research- based, high-impact framework for math success, and Planet Literacy, a series of professional development courses that build content literacy in conjunction with Common Core literacy standards and help students develop effective reading traits and vocabulary. Both programs have been implemented statewide.
