Set on the grounds of the first European settlement on the South Coast of (est 1822) Coolangatta Estate offers a truly unique wedding experience. Located 2 hours south of , the 130ha property is surrounded by vineyards, farmland and coastal views. The property offers onsite indoor and outdoor ceremony locations, 4 reception areas to choose from and can tailor packages suited to your individual needs, tastes and budget. For the wedding ceremony, the historic chapel can seat 60 to 100 (standing) persons. Several locations are suitable for an outdoor garden wedding, such as in the shade of the large Moreton Bay fig trees, which overlook Coolangatta’s sweeping vineyard countryside. The Ceremony

Our largest Reception area the ‘Crows Nest Function Room’ can seat up to 200 guests. An open plan venue that boasts a bar, historic open fireplace and private lounge – this area is the perfect place to let your dreams run wild. For a more intimate wedding the ‘Great Hall’, Built in 1832 (heritage listed), is a truly unique, historical setting with private bar and lounge area. The Great Hall can seat 80 of your guests.

For a more contemporary reception, Alexanders’ Restaurant can seat up to 80 of your guests. With spectacular coastal views ‘Alexanders’ this is the perfect location for a lunch time wedding. The Garden Marquee is the ideal venue for a small reception of no more than 50 persons; with breathtaking coastal views. Wedding Packages

b. Drinks on Tab Your pre arranged selection of drinks will be served to your guests on the day/evening of your function. The bar will operate a continuous Tab during the function with a designated person liaising with our function co-ordinator.

The pre arranged bar limit, is incorporated into your function account. Any unused portion of the bar limit will be refunded the day after the function. (All Coolangatta Estate wines are available at 10% off the wine list price)

Coolangatta Estate has strict RSA guidelines & reserves the right to cease the supply of alcohol to any person that contradicts this policy. Function Rooms * Alexander’s Restaurant - only available for lunch time functions & must be vacated by 4.30pm * Crows Nest Function Room - For functions over 80 guests * Great Hall Function Room - Suitable for functions under 80 guests. No candles permitted in this room (Heritage Building) * Vineyard Marquee - Suitable for small intimate functions, weather limitations.

Extras included in function prices: * Standard tables – note: $300 set up applies if not using existing function room tables * Linen tablecloths & linen napkins *Satin skirted bridal table & cake table (depending on availability) * Piano & microphone (Crows Nest Function Room only) * Fairy lights (Crows Nest Function Room only) & Tea Lights * Personalised menus Security & damage prevention Our personnel will take every care with your belongings; however, the estate cannot take responsibility for damage or loss of items before, during or after a function. Although accidents can happen, damage can be prevented by communication between the function organiser & our staff. Repair or replacement charges will be passed onto the client.

Beverages - Fully licensed venue & do not permit patrons, guests or invitees to bring liquor onto the premises. We are licensed to sell liquor until midnight. Time duration - All functions have a 5-hour duration (or time pre-organised with our co-ordinator). If you would like to extend your time this can be arranged at an additional charge of $300.00 per hour or part thereof. Deposits - A deposit of $2,000.00 is required to book your function & secure your date. Cancellation policy - The deposit will be refunded within 14 days from payment if you decide not to proceed. A 50% refund will apply if over 12 months notice is given, there after the amount is non-refundable Payment - Full payment and confirmed numbers are required 14 days prior to the function date. Payment is to include an estimation of beverage costs, if the cost is above the paid estimate this is to be settled at the conclusion of the function; a refund cheque will be posted for any unused amounts. No refunds apply if numbers change after confirmation. Confetti - Please advise your guests that no confetti or rice is permitted on the estate however soap bubbles and rose petals are allowed outside only. Accommodation

Scattered throughout the property, each of the 35 rooms is just a short walk from the Estate’s cellar door, restaurant, golf course, tennis court, games-room, croquet lawn, BBQ areas and solar-heated swimming pool. Many standards of accommodation are available to suit your taste, budget and family size. Accommodation Rates Bed & Breakfast - $220 per night 1 nights’ accommodation for 2 people Buffet breakfast Extra adult - $35.00 per person/night Child U/14 Years - $25.00 per child/night **SUITES - Additional $30 per room per night For Single person accommodation please contact our Reception.

Accommodation Booking Requirements: •A deposit of $100.00 per room to be paid in conjunction with function deposit at time of booking. •Room Information– names of each guest to be supplied before arrival for each room booked. •Reception is to be informed as to who will be paying the balance on departure (organiser or guest).

Cancellation Policy: A minimum of 28 days notice is required to receive a refund less 20% administration fee 27 –15 days notice to receive a 50% refund. 14 days or less and the deposit is forfeited.

Privacy / Noise Please respect other houseguests by keeping noise to a minimum especially at night. Group gatherings are not permitted in or near accommodation or recreational areas after 9.00 pm. Pool closed from 9pm, no glass is permitted in the pool area at any time.
