SPECIAL NOTICE The Dayton Audubon Society monthly meeting/program on August 21 at Wegerzyn Garden Center will be a new adventure for DAS, with a combined meeting with several other environmental organizations. We will journey across the hall to join Greenways of Greater Dayton, Chapter of the Sierra Club, and others, for a program featuring a speaker from the Miami Conservancy District . The discussion will be their new Watershed Initiatives.

GGD usually has a carry-in meal starting at 6:00PM, and feel welcome to bring a dish and participate; or come at the regular 7:00 PM hour for the program and cookies and punch.

Since both groups have been meeting at Wegerzyn I(Lee Hall) have become acquainted with Dave Schmenk of GGD and the Sierra Club. Their numbers in attendance are usually about the came as ours, so I'm hopeful that the loyal DAS members will be present.
