Mahtab Keramati Mahtab Keramati (1970), an Iranian actress, is a member of the board of directors in Andisheh Pardis Jam Institute. She holds a B.S. in microbiology from the Islamic Azad University. Keramati started her art activities by attending Amin Tarokh’s “the open workshop of acting”. The Poet (Shaer), directed by Masoud Keramati, in 1998, was Mahtab’s first performance on stage. 8 years later, in 1996, she acted in front of camera for the first time as an actress in The Men of Angelos, directed by Farajollah Salahshoor. Sociocultural Activities In September 2006, Keramati was appointed as UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and Messenger of Peace after two years of participation in HIV/AIDS area of activity in UNICEF. According to her activities, she was appointed as UNICEF National Ambassador in Iran in 2008.
