At the Community Foundation’s annual meeting in March, five community leaders were elected as new directors of the board. Patricia Fabian, Katherine Navota, Robert O’Connor, Thomas Russe and Edward Schmitt, Jr. will serve three-year terms. They replace outgoing directors Gretta Bieber, Bruce Goldsmith, Calvin Myers, Mark Truemper and Peter Whinfrey. Also, Hedy Lindgren was re-elected to the board. In addition, Frank Miller was elected as a new director in the summer of 2006 to fill the term of Michael Radakovich, who moved from the community. New officers also were elected for two-year terms. The Foundation’s new chairman of the board is Ralph Voris and new vice-chairman is Robert Hubbard. Sharon Stredde will continue to serve as corporate secretary and Roger Anderson will return as treasurer.
