Developed fully in 2014 to a capacity of 18,000 offering both Seated and Terrace viewing where fans are at the heart of the action. Women’s Rugby World Cup 2017 play-off matches will be held on the main Arena pitch – a fibre sand reinforced natural grass pitch. The Arena pitch has a permanent grandstand with seating for 330 spectators as well as access for standing and has been used in recent years to host top level rugby matches at national, student and school’s level.
