ANTI-ILLEGAL DRUG OPERATIONS

Suspect Busted in Island

Operatives from the PNP Malay Special Drug Enforcement Team led by PCAPT Dexter Brigido and drug law enforcement officers from PDEA Provinvial Office led by IA-III Eugene O. Prieto, conducted joint buy-bust operation earlier this morning at 3:00 AM, October 21, 2019, at Brgy. Manoc-Manoc, Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan.

The drug bust conducted led to the arrest of Kim Cahilo y Casimero and confiscation of suspected shabu weighing MOL 1.1 gram.

Cases for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Art. II RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are now being prepared for filing in court against the suspect.

Pusher Nabbed in Numancia Buy-Bust

Joint elements of Aklan Police Provincial Office Drug Enforcement Unit led by PMAJ Frenzy Andrade, Numancia Municipal Police Station led by PMAJ Josephine Jomocan, Municipal Police Station led by PLTCOL Richard Mepania and PDEA Aklan Provincial Officee led by IA-III Eugene O. Prieto, together with the Police Intel Section Aklan PPO and Highway Patrol Group conducted buy-bust operation earlier today, October 10, 2019 at around 2:20 AM.

Joseph Franco Ticar alias “Otip” was arrested at Bulwang, Numancia, Aklan during the said drug bust operation and suspected shabu weighing MOL 0.2 gram was seized from the suspect.

A case for violation of Section 5 Art. II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 is now being prepared for filing in court.

Alleged Minor Neutralized in Kalibo Drug Bust

Agents from the PDEA-Aklan Team and Kalibo Municipal PNP Special Drug Enforcement Unit conducted joint buy-bust operation at 7:40 PM last October 23, 2019 at M. Laserna St. , Kalibo, Aklan.

The drug bust resulted to the neutralization of an alleged 16-year old minor and seizure of MOL 1 gram of marijuana leaves.

Cases for violation of Sections 5, Art II, RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared for filing in court.

PDEA-6 Dismantles Another Drug Den in City

Joint elements from PDEA-6 Special Enforcement Team, Provincial Office with the assistance from PDEA-SIU and PDEA-, conducted buy-bust operation at Purok Kasagingan Brgy. Banago, Bacolod City late afternoon of October 24, 2019.

Suspects caught were identified as Felizardo Londres y Bernales, Erwin Villacastel y Lumawag, Jhon Dave Solis y Ebro, Rommel Pama y Apachecha and Jhon Paul Quiñanola y Celiz.

Suspected shabu weighing MOL 15 grams with an estimated street value of Php 102,000 were seized during the said drug bust.

Cases for violation of Sections 5, 6, 7, 11 and 12 of Art II, RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are now being prepared for filing in court.

Drug Suspect Nailed at Buy-bust

Joint elements of the PNP Drug Enforcement Unit led by PMAJ Joefer Cabural, PDEA-Guimaras led by IA-V Ferdenand A. Kintanar, Nueva Valencia Police Station led by PLT Norman Pacifico and Jordan MPS led by PMAJ Rey Teñala, conducted buy-bust operation last October 26, 2019 at 10:00 PM at Brgy. Lucmayan, Nueva Valencia, Guimaras.

The drug bust resulted to the arrests of Armando Go y Valerio, Loubert Santaromana y Flejoles and Sarah Del Rosario y Vargas and the confiscation of MOL .36 grams of suspected shabu.

Cases for violation of Sections 5, 11 and 26 in relation to Section 5 of Art. II RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act are now being prepared for filing in court.

PDEA VI and K9 OPERATIONS

PDEA VI and its K9 Units Persistent in conducting Paneling and Inspections

PDEA Iloilo, NOCPO, Aklan, Antique, , Guimaras and its K9 Interdiction Unit conducted series of monitoring, random inspections, and paneling this month of October.

PDEA Iloilo and its K9 Interdiction Unit undergo several inspections in Iloilo International Airport, Pacific and Cargo, Fast Craft Terminal in Lapuz, Fort San Pedro Port and Roro Port. PDEA Guimaras and its K9 Team under direct supervision of IAV Ferdinand Kintanar consolidated effort from the Municipal Police Station and Guimaras Coast Guard to sweep Roro Port in Jordan and Tumanda Wharf in San Lorenzo. PDEA NOCPO and K9 Unit under direct supervision of IA I Nicolas Gomez continues monitoring in Bacolod City South Ceres Terminal Buses and Vessels, Bacolod- Airport, San Carlos Port, and paneling at the New Government Center for the Maskara Festival. Also PDEA Aklan and K9 Team under the supervision of IA III Eugene Prieto randomly inspect Kalibo- Aklan International Airport. While PDEA CApiz and Antique and its K9 Interdiction Team led by IA I Jeanette Reyes and IA III Gerald Sanguenza respectively steered the Port in Capiz and Libertad Port in Antique. However, suspected Ammonium Nitrate detected during random check in Culasi Port with no permit.

No illegal drugs were found or confiscated during the said airports, seaports, terminals, vessels, cargos, and wharfs operations.

PDEA-led Project Undaspot, Oplan Harabas Successfully Implemented in WV

Ocrober 28, 2019: Led by PDEA-6 Interdiction Units and Provincial Offices in coordination with LTO, LTFRB, Local Government Units and other concerned agencies and stakeholders, launched Project Undaspot, Oplan Harabas and conducted simultaneous surprise mandatory drug tests to drivers of buses region-wide, in time for the celebration of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day this coming weekend.

Further, distribution of information, education and communication (IEC) materials and K9 sweeping operations at bus terminals, airports and seaports were also simultaneously conducted.

The project was steered in the following schedule and areas:

• Jetty Port, Caticlan Malay, Aklan, 4:00 AM - PDEA-Aklan K9 Units conducted paneling and profiling at Jetty Port, Caticlan, Malay, Aklan where buses from bound for Iloilo and and cargoes coming in and out from the RO-RO vessels were inspected.

• Pavia People’s Terminal, Ungka Uno, Pavia, Iloilo, 6:00 AM: PDEA-6 Interdiction Units together with PDEA-Iloilo conducted paneling inspections and surprise random drug testing to bus drivers at the Pavia People’s Terminal, Ungka Uno, Pavia, Iloilo.

• Terminal, San Jose de Buenavista, Antique, 6:20 AM: PDEA-Antique Team along with the San Jose Municipal Police Station conducted paneling and K9 sweeping operations to San Jose de Buenavista Terminal, San Jose de Buenavista, Antique with the aid of Narcotic Detection Dogs. Target of the inspection were the public utility buses and PUVs bound for and to , other parts of Antique and buses bound for .

• Roxas City Integrated Transport Terminal Pueblo De , Brgy. Lawaan, Roxas City, Capiz, 7:00 AM: PDEA-Capiz and its K9 Interdiction Unit conducted random paneling and inspection at Roxas City Integrated Transport Terminal Pueblo De Panay, Brgy Lawaan, Roxas City, Capiz. Advocacy materials were also distributed to the riding public.

• BREDCO Port, Bacolod City, 8:30 AM: PDEA-NOCPO and its K9 Interdiction Units together with the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Bacolod Substation Command, conducted random paneling and K9 Sweeping at BREDCO Port, situated in Chinatown Square 888 Gatuslao St., Bacolod City.

• Ceres Terminal, Buhang Jaro, Iloilo City, 9:30 AM: PDEA-6 Interdiction Units together witl PDEA-Iloilo conducted paneling inspections and surprise random drug testing to bus drivers at Ceres Terminal, Buhang Jaro, Iloilo City.

• Ceres North Bus Terminal, Brgy. Bata, Bacolod City, 10:00 AM: PDEA-NOCPO and its K9 Interdiction Unit and the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Bacolod Substation, conducted random paneling, K9 sweeping and random drug at the Ceres Bata North Bus Terminal, Bacolod City.

• Ceres South Bus Terminal, Bacolod City, 12:00noon: PDEA-NOCPO together with Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) and Land Transportation Office (LTO) Bacolod, conducted random paneling, K9 sweeping and random drug testing to Ceres drivers and conductors at Ceres South Bus Terminal, Bacolod City.

• Brgy. San Pedro, Molo Terminal, Iloilo City, 2:00 PM: PDEA-6 Interdiction Units together with PDEA-Iloilo, conducted paneling inspections and surprise random testing to bus drivers at Brgy. San Pedro, Molo Terminal, Iloilo City.

A total of 282 individuals were subjected to the surprise random drug test comprising of 123 drivers, 98 conductors, 1 dispatcher, 1 inspector, 34 van drivers, 4 multi-cab drivers, 15 taxi drivers, and 6 tricycle drivers. No drugs were recovered during the said operation and none tested positive during the random surprise drug tests conducted.
