DAY 1: Wed 15 Aug ARRIVE KUNUNURRA (-) Depart your home port and fly to Kununurra and on arrival make your way to the accommodation to check-in before making your way to the hotel reception area at 5:00pm to meet your Swagman Tours driver and hostess for a pre tour briefing. Overnight: Kununurra

DAY 2: Thu 16 Aug KUNUNURRA SIGHTSEEING (BD) This morning our local guide joins us for a tour of the town itself, the irrigation scheme farms, Ivanhoe Crossing, Diversion Dam, Indian sandalwood plantations, hybrid seed production plus chia, melon and pumpkin crops. After an early lunch (own expense), travel out to the relocated original homestead of the pioneering Durack family from and cross the dam wall that holds the water for the gravity fed Ord irrigation scheme. Board your cruise boat for the Ord River cruise into Kununurra, enjoying a spectacular Kimberley sunset over the Carr Boyd Ranges and Lake Kununurra. Overnight: As Above

DAY 3: Fri 17 Aug BUNGLE BUNGLES FULL DAY FLY/DRIVE TOUR (BLD) A wonderful chance to visit this world famous area with its unique beehive shaped domes. After an early breakfast fly by light aircraft into the Bungle Bungles Ranges. Transfer into 4WD’s and visit Cathedral Gorge, Piccaninny Creek and Bellburn Camp. On your scenic flight to and from the Bungle Bungles today see the Ord River irrigation scheme, Ord River, Lake Argyle and the Argyle Diamond Mine before returning to Kununurra late afternoon in time for dinner at the hotel. DAY 4: Sat 18 Aug WYNDHAM – EL QUESTRO – (BLD) After an early breakfast travel to the northern most port town of Wyndham and marvel at the picturesque landscape of the Kimberley and its rivers plus Cambridge Gulf from the Five Rivers Lookout. Enter the heart of the Kimberley as the going gets tough but the scenery is superb travelling along the , spending time enroute at Emma Gorge in El Questro Station to see the spectacular waterfall and pools and enjoy lunch (own expense). Afterwards continue through the Cockburn Ranges to Home Valley Station. Overnight: Home Valley Station

DAY 5: Sun 19 Aug H OME VALLEY STATION – (BLD) Today is a driving day along the renowned Gibb River Road to our destination of . Enroute stop at Station, a working cattle property of 1 million acres. Arrive at the homestead and enjoy morning tea in the gardens including their famous Gibb River Road scones. Overnight: Drysdale River Station

DAY 6: Mon 20 Aug MITCHELL PLATEAU & FALLS SCENIC FLIGHT (BLD) Today enjoy a scenic flight over the magnificent Mitchell Plateau & Falls along with the rugged Kimberley coastline. See Mt Hann, Deep Gorge and the magnificent Prince Regent Nature Reserve. See abundant waterfalls, King Cascades and St George Prince Frederick Harbour aboard your 5-6 seat aircraft to gain a unique perspective of this breathtaking area. Overnight: As Above

DAY 7: Tue 21 Aug DRYSDALE RIVER – MOUNT ELIZABETH (BLD) This morning depart for Mount Elizabeth, a working property. This afternoon is at leisure for activities on the station including time spent at a nearby gorge to relax, swim and do some bushwalking. Overnight: Mount Elizabeth – Shared Toilet & Bathroom Facilities

DAY 8: Wed 22 Aug MT ELIZABETH – ADCOCK & BELL GORGES – MT HART (BLD) Up early this morning for a long driving day today. Enjoy a short walk into Adcock Gorge enroute before arriving at Bell Gorge in the King Leopold Range Conservation Park, renowned to be the most beautiful gorge in the Kimberley. Arrive late this afternoon to Mt Hart, some distance off the Gibb River Road. Note: A good level of fitness is required for the 2km walk into Bell Gorge - tracks are rocky, uneven and steep at times therefore good non-slip shoes are required. Overnight: Mt Hart (Permanent Tent with ensuite)

DAY 9: Thu 23 Aug MT HART (BLD) This morning take a leisurely walk into the small gorge on the station and visit popular Barker Pool. This afternoon is free at leisure to relax and take in the surroundings and perhaps walk through the gardens to spot the birdlife and travel out to Sunset Hill late afternoon for sunset drinks. DAY 10: Fri 24 Aug TUNNEL CREEK & WINDJANA GORGE (BLD) On rejoining the Gibb River Road this morning stop off and view Lennard River Gorge and pass through the scenic Napier Ranges on Station. Afterwards visit and walk into magnificent Windjana Gorge with its walls soaring 80 metres above the riverbed. Continue to Tunnel Creek – an underground stream located in the King Leopold Ranges to enjoy a walk through the creek and marvel at this unique stream in its arid environment (please bring a torch and wet weather shoes). End the day travelling to our out- station accommodation at Downs on the family operated cattle station property of Jubilee Downs, our home for the next two nights. Overnight: Jubilee Downs Station – accommodation is twin share rooms with shared toilets and showers. We have exclusive use for our stay. Beds will be allocated on a first in, first served basis. Passengers may be required to camp on the lawns once the allocation of beds has been filled – Swagman Tours will provide necessary equipment.

DAY 11: Sat 25 Aug JUBILEE DOWNS STATION (BLD) This morning property owners Keith and Karen Anderson will join us after breakfast and show us around the property, in particular their unique red droughtmaster cattle. This afternoon can be spent relaxing in the lounge/dining area of the old homestead or take a stroll along a station track and just generally relax and soak up the surroundings. Overnight: As Above

DAY 12: Sun 26 Aug JUBILEE DOWNS – GEIKIE GORGE – BROOME (B) This morning travel to Fitzroy Crossing for a leisurely cruise down Geikie Gorge to see the abundant wildlife and crocodiles sunning themselves on the banks of the river. After lunch (own expense) continue to the cosmopolitan pearling township of Broome, our home for the next 3 nights. Overnight: Broome

DAY 13: Mon 27 Aug BROOME SIGHTSEEING (B) This morning see the highlights of Broome including Chinatown, the Sun outdoor theatre, the Japanese Pearl Divers Cemetery, Gantheaume Point and the Dinosaur’s footprints. Enjoy a guided tour of the Pearl Lugger’s Museum to learn about the history of the pearl industry. Afterwards some time at leisure or take an optional tour to visit the Willie Creek Pearl Farm before transferring to Cable Beach to enjoy a spectacular sunset and optional camel ride. Dinner is at own expense this evening. Overnight: As Above

DAY 14: Tue 28 Aug FREE DAY – HORIZONTAL FALLS OPTIONAL TOUR (B) A full free day for private sightseeing or see the below optional tour;

HORIZONTAL FALLS OPTIONAL TOUR Fly from Broome to Horizontal Falls on board a Seaplane and enjoy a spectacular landing on the calm waters of Talbot Bay. Transfer to fast boat and enjoy the experience the incredible tidal power of this natural phenomenon as you are taken through the falls. Enjoy breakfast or lunch on the houseboat. View Paspaley pearl farms in Talbot Bay as we take off for our return flight. Fly at 200m over hundreds of islands of the Buccaneer Archipelago and Cape Leveque before heading south along the coast of the Dampier Peninsula over Lombadina, Beagle Bay, Carnot Bay, Willie Creek & Cable Beach prior to landing in Broome. Tour Cost - $850.00 per person. Alternatively a full day Horizontal Falls tour is available travelling by 4WD along the Dampier Peninsula to see the Beagle Bay church, Cape Leveque and One Arm Point where you board the seaplane to view the falls as per above. Tour Cost - $895.00 per person. Tours must be booked and paid in full prior to departure. Please note: There are strictly limited vacancies and they fill very quickly. DAY 15: Wed 29 Aug BROOME – FLY HOME (B) Have the opportunity for last minute shopping to buy mementos or take a final stroll or swim along Cable Beach before making your way to Broome airport for you flight home, so ending a memorable trip to the Kimberley region.
