A very big thank-you to all our customers for their continued support in 2017, what a fantastic year yet again! We look forward to welcoming you and all new faces in 2018.

Now trading in our 6th year, yes I know! 5 years, we can hardly believe it either; they have gone by so quickly but still thoroughly enjoying the challenge and continuing to strive for the very best store with great produce and where possible from local sources.

All of our long established suppliers continue into 2018 with the exception of Brimfield’s Fruit and Veg, Ross has sadly had to call it a day but he has been kind enough to put us in contact with his wholesaler so the quality fruit and veg you have come to expect from our store continues.

Gluten free bread is now carried in store and that range has also grown considerably. • Fresh meat supplied from Soles Butchers of Alresford and Jon Thorner’s of Somerset, available instore or to order weekly. • Fresh artisan bread from Happy Toast Bakery delivered Monday – Saturday. Customers are coming to our store from as far as Southampton and Salisbury to purchase the amazing range available for this supplier. • Stationery, Greeting Cards from two local suppliers. • A great selection of chilled Beers, Wines, Gins and many other Spirits available,

All fresh bread, fruit/veg and meats are available to order weekly should you require it.

HEALTH AND CARE SERVICES IT’S A GOOD NEIGHBOURHOOD SCHEME Telephone No. 08450 948 946 A few years ago a single volunteer set up a new small care group in South Wonston. The group aimed to give a helping hand to those who are still living in their own homes and wish to retain their independence. The scheme which is established county-wide is run by volunteers who receive requests for neighbourly assistance through a central number. The volunteers offer help in a variety of ways, including: Driving people to and from hospital, GP and other medical appointments, visiting and befriending, doing small practical tasks in the home like changing a light bulb or tuning a TV, shopping, collecting library books and prescriptions – anything a good neighbour would do. Requests for the Good Neighbours service are on the increase. We need to reinforce the Team in South Wonston. If you are able to help for a couple of hours a month, it will make all the difference to those who rarely venture outside their front doors. If you would like also to receive a helping hand we would be delighted to hear from you.
