Air flight changes Business and travel just got a whole lot easier

You asked for better flights services in and out of , and Air New Zealand has heard you. When the changes come in, you’ll have more time to get work done if you’re travelling for business. And if you’re flying on, your connections will be quicker and more convenient. In July, Air New Zealand will add three weekly direct A320 flights between and Dunedin. And in October, a second direct jet service will be added to the Dunedin to route. The service will be up to 35 minutes faster and more comfortable on larger A320 aircraft. As well as adding flights, Air New Zealand is changing its schedules to give greater customer choice with improved connections for domestic and trans-Tasman travellers. Timetable changes Taking care of business Air New Zealand’s schedule changes will give Auckland customers over ten hours on the ground in Dunedin, with flights departing Auckland at 7.20am and Dunedin at 7.45pm. Business travellers from Dunedin will have nearly six hours on the ground in Auckland, with the last direct flight heading south at 5.15pm. A full business day is also available through the morning one-stop option via Wellington. Making better connections The changes will make it easier for people flying in and out of Dunedin to connect with international destinations across Air New Zealand’s growing international network. The new services and schedules offer better connections for international flights, with more choices and greatly improved Asia, Pacific Island and trans-Tasman connectivity. Passengers travelling to China, Japan, as well as North and South America will benefit from reduced transit times and more connecting flight options. What’s more, Air New Zealand is offering a same-day connection between Dunedin and Honolulu for the first time! Air New Zealand’s new schedules and services will also give domestic travellers more choices, with multiple new daily connections to a range of domestic destinations.
