Year 3 Lesson 2 Our favourite sports and sporting heroes. Our favourite sports and sporting heroes.

Today we are going to be thinking about our favourite sports and the sports people we admire the most. Favourite Sports My favourite sports are trampolining, netball, tennis and badminton.

Trampolining – this was a big part of my life before I had my children. In fact, I spent 22 years of my life trampolining and competed at National Level, spending many weekends traveling around the U.K competing. Netball - I played netball at primary school and again as an adult, playing in the Ashford Netball League. Tennis – I used to love playing tennis on the tennis courts in Charing. I wasn’t particularly good at it though; I played for enjoyment. Badminton – Another sport I started playing in the village hall in Charing and I also played badminton for my university team.
