Matt Wallace Completes Hat Trick with Win in Denmark

MATT WALLACE COMPLETES HAT TRICK WITH WIN IN DENMARK

Le Brassus, 7 September 2018 – Matt Wallace wins at the Made In Denmark.

The 28-year old English player continues his remarkable season on the European Tour with his fourth victory in 15 months. After making 5 birdies on the last six holes to finish on 19 under par, Matt joined Steven Brown, Jonathan Thomson and his fellow Audemars Piguet Dream Team member Lee Westwood in the play-off at the Made In Denmark. After his ninth birdie of the day on the first play-off hole, Wallace followed up with another birdie to secure his third win of the season.

The rookie commented: “I set myself positions where I have to do things and, more often than not, I get it done. I'm very fortunate to have done it when I needed to in a few tournaments now.”

Thanks to this hat-trick, on his first full season on the European Tour, Matt is now ranked 53rd in the Official World Golf Ranking and 22nd in the Race To Dubai.
