Following a turbulent Tuesday that saw the death of a con- struction worker at the Jane Addams Tollway (I-90) overpass at Touhy Avenue, the injury of three other workers, and massive traffic jams, "Everything's back to normal," according to Des Plaines Police Chief William Kushner. Two steel beams that had been dislodged from the overpass early Tuesday morning were removed from the scene Tuesday night allowing for the opening of Touhy at about 10: 1 5 p.m. That made for a normal traffic commute Wednesday morning.
