LOCAL PLAN

South Northamptonshire Local Plan Part 2 - Examination

West Northamptonshire Strategic Plan: Currently: Issues Consultation: This includes a ‘Call for Strategic Sites’, please note this site has been submitted as a potential new settlement. Draft Plan: expected August 2020 Adoption: targeted 2021

The site is within the South Northamptonshire Council administrative area. The current planning documents are the 1997 Local Plan and the Joint Core Strategy adopted in December 2014. The Local Plan Part 2, currently at Inquiry, will replace the saved policies of the 1997 local Plan, once it is adopted.

South Northamptonshire, Daventry District and Northampton Borough are jointly preparing a Strategic Plan for West Northamptonshire (to 2041) with one of the options being inclusion of New Settlements. The Issues Consultation concluded on the 11th October 2019.

4 DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT

The Vendors wish to select a partner with experience in promoting strategic opportunities, through to the realisation of planning consent. The land is being offered by way of either option or promotion agreement

5 LANDOWNERSHIP & TENURE The land being offered is within a consortium of two landowners. Vacant possession will be provided upon completion of sale, once planning consent is granted.
