Route instructions [1] Turn left out of car park and follow road for approx 100yds to turn first left. Follow road uphill towards church and on reaching boundary wall of church yard turn right onto path skirting the side and back of church grounds. In a short distance path divides. Take right hand path heading uphill. Follow path to the top of Brent Knoll. On reaching top turn right on top of earthworks and follow round.

[2] As you work your way round you will see a tall pole on the left further down the hill. Head towards this pole. Path now heads steeply down to reach a stile which cross and follow path downwards through field towards East Brent Church. At bottom corner of field pass through gate and head towards left hand side of school and follow path into churchyard. Follow path alongside church and then turn left on path running up alongside right hand side of church.

[3] Turn left on next path and head uphill to then turn left again on path with hedge on your left. In a short distance you will see a path going through the fence on your right and into a field. Take this path and follow up left-hand side of field to cross stile and reach road. Turn left onto road and follow for approx. 200yds. Until a footpath sign and stile on your right is seen. Cross stile and head across field to enter a small copse where path drops steeply and crosses a small brook. Cross brook and go uphill to then follow path across 5 fields to reach a reservoir on left. The field is narrow here and you will see a stile in the corner, which cross and turn left.

[4] The path then passes the front of the reservoir and follows the side of the steep escarpment dropping down to the levels. After approx. 600yds turn left over a stile and go initially very steeply down hill to reach road. Turn left and follow road through Brent Knoll village to reach car park at starting point.
