In 2018, Corporal Kalahui’s efforts resulted in the recovery of almost 600 grams of illegal narcotics with a street value of approximately $1.3 million. In addition, six firearms were re- covered and taken off the street. Most of these seizures were the result of multiple initial undercover operations requiring the execution of several search warrants. Corporal Kalahui possess the skills required to successfully execute these war- rants and coordinate resources to ensure officer safety.

In addition to his administrative and supervisory duties as an acting detective, Corporal Kalahui also trains and mentors the newly assigned personnel in the unit. Hawaii Prince Each year the ASIS International Hawaii Chapter hosts a golf Golf Course tournament to raise money to honor TOP COPs, sponsor scholarships to award to local individuals with studies in April 24, 2020 criminal justice and other law enforcement fields, and other charitable events.
