2. CHECKLIST OF SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS TO BE INCLUDED WITH APPLICATION FORMS:

▪ A certified copy of your June (current year) matric results or certified copy of Matric

results if completed before current year. For current university students: Certified copy

of Matric results and first semester results

▪ Proof of acceptance at an accredited South African tertiary institution *

▪ An essay of 250 words to motivate your case

▪ A certified copy of your South African ID.

3. SELECTION CRITERIA

▪ SA Citizen

▪ Above average academic record

▪ Financial circumstances

▪ Preference will be given to students from previously disadvantaged communities

*ACCREDITED SOUTH AFRICAN TERTIARY INSITUTIONS

Only applications for studies in recognized mainstream universities and universities of technology in South Africa will be considered. Please see list of the recommended institutions on page 5.
