POSITIONS: 2020 Seasonal Clubhouse internship . Exact dates flexible upon school schedule . PREFERENCE GIVEN TO THOSE AVAILABLE MARCH – SEPTEMBER . Preference given to those attending school with a focus on Sport Industry/Sport Management . Preference given to those with previous experience working in a professional clubhouse/ locker room

SUPERVISORS: Home/Visiting Clubhouse Managers.

PROVISIONS: Game stipend + hourly opportunities. Housing will be left to the discretion of the intern (guidance will be provided)

FACILITY: Huntington Park is located in downtown Columbus, Ohio, and is home to the Cleveland Indians’ Triple-A affiliate Columbus Clippers.

DESCRIPTION: Candidates must: . Be available all baseball season (April - September) . An understanding of the game is preferred. . Be physically able to carry up to 70 lbs. . Be able to maintain a professional demeanor in the public view. . Be reliable, punctual, and be able to follow direction in a timely & detail oriented manner.

Daily Jobs may entail: . Cleaning Locker Rooms, showers, lavatories, restrooms, team vehicles, clubhouse, etc. . Loading/unloading balls, personal items, and team equipment from team vehicles before/after game or practice. . Doing team laundry . Cleaning and repairing team equipment . Preparing pre/post game team meals . Assisting players/staff with personal errands, needs, travel, etc.
