Guru Har Rai ji’s sakhis. (Joti Jot ji)

When Guru Ji perceived the time of his Joti Jot was coming he sent messages to his beloved and Masands. When these Sikhs and Masands along with other Sangat had arrived, Guru Ji addressed them saying:

"Guru is a light (Jot) and not a body. As the clouds come and after showering rain disappear, similarly Gurus come and after cooling the hearts of grieving mankind, and bringing the morally mistaken people on the right path, disappear (I.e. go to the next world). Now the time of departure from this world had come near. The light (Jot) of the Guru will now pass into the body of Harkrishan. He will now be your Guru, he will guide you in both worlds, whoever serves him with devotion will get fulfilment of their desires. Don’t consider him a child, he is to be Satguru, he will show you the divine path.”
