The 27th APR & the 3rd International Patrol Jamboree 4 – 9 August, 2010 City, Jeolla Province, Republic of

Korea Association has organized the 27th Asia Pacific Regional Scout Jamboree & the 3rd International Patrol Jamboree from 4 – 9 August 2010. For the generous contribution of the Asia Pacific Regional Office and the cooperation of the Scout Brothers all over the world, KSA could invite over 440 foreign participants.

C-1 Indoor Activities

Missions to survive Participants accomplish the missions in group and learn how to cooperate with other scouts and build strong faith among friends. Leather Craft You learn how to treat leather and make your own accessories. Award Participants learn how to read map, compass and practice saving life, lashing, raft making through activities. Rock Climbing Participants learn the rock climbing tools and their use and experience the rock climbing which will strengthen your spirit and body. Dream of B-Boy Hip hop dance course where you can learn dancing step by step and perform what the B-boys dance. Int’l Night The contingents will perform to introduce their culture and share its beauty with the global friends. Super Star J We are looking for scouts who can challenge to be the Super Star J with his/her singing, dancing or any special ability. Youth Environment Forum Participants share ideas and find the ways they can take action for environment preservation

Fun! Fun! Sports activity! Hiphop, BMX, Skate board, S-Board, In-Line Skate, Paragliding. Warak! Let’s embrace the earth! Suncheon Bay Trekking, Eco-Trekking. Go! Go! The secrets of Suncheon! Stray craft, Natural dyes, pottery activity, History Quiz, Traditional sport s, tour to traditional village. Exciting Water Activity!! Rubber raft, canoe, life-saving practice, swimming, water slide. Aha! This is Suncheon!(Field Trip)

Date : 7 August 2010 Venue : Suncheon city City Hall Total participants : around 100 people Objectives – Be Green Turn Daily To learn the meaning and importance of recycling and the movement you can fulfill in your daily life through eco-friendly research and activities Program me - Keynote Speech - Leave message on eco-friendly fabricated T-shirts - Check the if the recycling movement is going well at the Jamboree site
