10 SPECIAL REGULATIONS (For the conduct of equestrian competitions at QCAS affiliated Queensland Agricultural Shows)

Subject to the Rules, By-Laws and Regulations of the Queensland Chamber of Agricultural Society's Inc. (QCAS) and the Society/Association relevant to this schedule, the following General Horse Regulations shall apply.

Where there is a conflict between these regulations and the regulations and rules of the local Agricultural Society, the rules of the Affiliated Agricultural Society prevail.

These regulations are to be read in conjunction with the General Regulations contained in this schedule.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

HORSE SECTION: While all effort will be made to broadcast each ring event, exhibitors alone will be responsible for the presence of exhibits in the ring at the time stated and must take the consequences of no compliance with instructions. In the event of a tie, the prize money and points for first and second are to be equally divided. Any stallions or colts over 2 years are to be shown in a bit or chain and led by a competent person over 16 years. All riders under 17 years of age must wear and EFA approved safety helmet.

Rosewood Showgrounds does not have an approved livestock spraying facility. Competitors returning to the Cattle Tick protected and free areas will need to contact the D.P.I. and book in.

T1Y “CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS” HACK SERIES The T1Y Hack Series is to commence in 2019 with 12 shows each having 1 representative to compete for the CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS HACK and 1 representative to compete for the CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS SHOW HUNTER at Gatton Show in July 2019.

This event is open to all competitors at participating shows: Millmerran, Pittsworth, Warwick, Dalby, Kingaroy, Taroom, Marburg, Ipswich, Boonah Rosewood, Laidley and Gatton.

SUPREME HACK AND SUPREME SHOW HUNTER at each participating show will win $300 plus a Trophy Bag, ribbon and invitation to compete at the final at Gatton Show in July. (unless they have qualified previously, then only prize money will be paid).

If Runner-up Hack or Show Hunter is required to represent Rosewood Show, the prize will be $200 plus T1Y trophy bag and an invitation to compete at the Gatton Show.

T1Y FINAL - CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS To be judged at Gatton Show on Saturday 19th July, 2019.

CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS HACK - $5000 + rug, a garland and the T1Y Perpetual trophy. CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS SHOW HUNTER - $5000 + rug, a garland and the T1Y Perpetual trophy. SMARTEST ON PARADE HACK & SHOW HUNTER - $1000 & rosette. EACH FINALIST, including winners will receive $200 + medallion.

Competitors will be judged on: ¡ Conformation and Presentation 25 points ¡ A Station Hack Class 25 points ¡ A Working Station Horse 25 points (Pattern Available week of show) ¡ A Cut Out Event 25 points MAXIMUM OF 100 POINTS

Points won from each category will be combined after all sections completed to determine placegetters.
