TITLE = Gujarati Women's Journals NOTE = The project will create digital copies of the entire run of Stri bodh (1857-1944) and a partial run of Sundari subodh (1904-1921). These are rare Gujarati women’s journals, preserved by the BJ Institute in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Files to be hosted by DSAL. $14,000 approved by SAMP in March 2013.
TITLE = Tamil Medical Periodicals. IDENTITY = 18 titles. NOTE = SAMP approved $10,518 to digitize approximately 42 reels of Tamil medical periodicals that are currently held at RMRL. RMRL will send the negative reels to The Crowley Company in Frederick, MD, who will digitize them. Images will be 400 dpi bitonal TIFF uncompressed files. Microfilm and a copy of the digital files will be returned to RMRL. SAMP or DSAL will host SAMP's copy of the digital files.
