In the first paper, I review past works and theorize about exit decisions of large multinational firms. In the second paper, I establish relationship between organizational factors along social and geographical dimensions with the errors in firms’ selection of technological opportunities. In the third paper, I study how technological and economic (financial) shocks affect technology search and selection.
