The March 2013 Citizens Panel questionnaire was sent to 1903 Citizens' Panel members. In total 1145 people responded, a 60% response. Each question shows the Base response – the total number of people who responded to that question. Some people may have responded to the survey, but not every question within it.

Summary • 45% of respondents were satisfied with Avon Fire and Rescue Service, none were dissatisfied. 48% did not know or had not used the service. • 84% of respondents were confident that Avon Fire and Rescue Service would reach them in an emergency. Only 1% were unconfident of this. • Respondents indicated the most popular way for Avon Fire and Rescue service to promote advice about fire safety in homes would be to post leaflets through front doors (53%). Following this was handing out leaflets at local events (39%) and using social media (36%). • Just over half of respondents were aware that Avon Fire and Rescue Service visits peoples homes to provide fire safety advice and education (52%)
