PROFESSOR DAN C. MOORE

18 During his college career, a student meets a few instructors who will leave on him a lifelong impression. Such a man is Mr. Moore. His keen explanations, his quick wit, his seemingly endless wealth of knowl¬ edge, even outside his chosen field of physics, his warm smile, and his complete willingness to help in any possible way those who study under him; these qualities combine to inspire his students year after year. With sincere respect and deep appre¬ ciation, we dedicate the 1963 Memory to Professor Moore.
