Since 2005, I am a lecturer at the "Social and Economic College" in the Negev and a consultant for its committee on social justice. http:// www.sea.org.il/sea/center-beer-sheva.shtml Since 2004, I am a consultant and lecturer at the Bedouin-Jewish Women Workshops for Peace, coordinated by the Ben-Gurion University and Neve Shalom. During 2002-2003, I was a commentator for Channel 10’s Friday Night’s News Magazine: "London and Kirshenbaum". In 2002, I was a member of the Public Council for Education in Israel (ELA) and promoted GLBT rights. In January 2001, I was a member of a Rabin Center ‘Think Tank’ that meets fortnightly to discuss issues of national interest and to formulate possible avenues of policy. During 1997- 1999, I was a consultant to the Beersheba municipality on women’s issues and promoting democratic elections in poor neighborhoods. Future plans: My near future plan is to continue the ongoing research on two separate topics: "Migrating women from the Maghreb" and "Critic of deliberative democracy". These projects demand the development of both theoretical and empirical perspectives. By working on these perspectives I aim at extending the boundaries of the knowledge in the fields. In August 2013 I am on sabbatical in Oxford University for six months. I will be affiliated to the Senior Associate Member Program in St. Antony's College and to Visiting Scholars Program in the Department of Politics. I am expected to participate in the workshops and seminars and to deliver lectures. I am planning to use this opportunity to present the above mentioned researches in order to hear experts' scholars' feedback and further develop the studies towards publication. As part of my academic routine I also plan to focus on completion of other opened academic projects such as allocating proper journals for the publication of four of the articles which are mentioned in the 'Articles to be submitted' section. Finally, I continue to intensively supervise the Ph.D. and M.A. students.
