Day 02/ Delhi sightseeing After relaxed breakfast proceed for sightseeing tour of New Delhi where ornate buildings recall the days when India was the Jewel in the crown of the British empire. Also visit Laxmi Narayan Temple popularly known as Birla Temple - Birla temple patronized by Mahatma Gandhi, who inaugurated this temple in 1938 after Raja Baldev Birla constructed it, is dedicated to Goddess . It is close to Connaught Place and is frequented by many devotees regularly. The temple was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi on the condition that people of all strata of society be allowed to offer prayers there on account of the large scale prevalence of untouchability at that time. Its construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai Singh I. City Palace - A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. It houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum.

Jantar Mantar - This is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use.

Hawa Mahal - The ornamental facade of this "Palace of Winds" is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. Their five-storey structures of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and windows.

Evening proceed to Dera Amer - Here the elephant treks are conducted in the original Aravali forests surrounding the camp and follow a route passing by hutments, agricultural fields, hills and ancient monuments, the birdlife in the thick forests is thriving and though panthers do inhabit the jungles it is very rare to see them however occasionally the hyena and the wolf has been sighted by guests, antelopes, jackals are in abundance. The sunset elephant treks are magical. After dinner in the camp back to hotel. Night stay in Jaipur.

Day 04/ Jaipur – Chomu After relaxed breakfast drive to Chomu – a short drive away from pink city “Jaipur”, with innovative activities like traditional turban tying, authentic Rajasthani cuisine served in the traditional way, and Spa Therapies besides the visits to the colourful,vibrant and enchanting local village and countryside.

Later drive back to Jaipur then proceed to visit Albert Hall - This museum is supposed to be the oldest museum of the state. Colonel Sir Swinton Jacob designed it in 1876 to greet King Edward VII as Prince of Wales on his visit to India. It was opened to public ten years later. Positioned amidst the gardens of Ram Niwas Bagh in Jaipur, this museum has an assortment of rare articles on its display including textiles, carpets, paintings, metal and wood crafts, pottery, arms and weapons, flora and fauna of the state, toys, dolls and even an Egyptian mummy that belongs to the Ptolemaic Epoch.

Nahargarh Fort - was built by Sawai Raja Jai Singh and later some splendid additions were done by the successors of Sawai Raja Jai Singh. The fort was renovated in the 19th century and some splendid features were added to the magnificent fort. The older parts of the fort though have withered and lost its charm by the times but the new additions are charming and captivating till date.

Evening visit Chokhi Dhani, an ethnic village - It is one its own kind, each of the detailed work in the village tells you about the culture and tradition of . Dinner and cultural program will be organized for you at Chokhi Dhani. Night stay in Jaipur. Day 05/ Jaipur – Agra (After breakfast drive to Agra en route visiting , a small town village, near Agra . The place is popular for the amazing 'Baoris' (step wells) and Harshat Mata Temple. The village of Abhaneri is believed to be established by the King Raja Chand. Originally Abhaneri was named as Abha Nagri, which means the city of brightness, but due to mispronunciation of the term, it is changed to the present name.

Continue drive to Agra en route visiting Fatehpur Sikri -a perfectly preserved red sandstone “ghost town” which was the estranged capital of Mughal emperor Akbar, built in 1569 and deserted when its water supply failed. Arrive Agra & transfer to hotel. Night stay in Agra.

Day 06/ Agra sightseeing Morning at sunrise visit the magnificent Taj Mahal - one of the seven wonders of the world surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. 20,000 men labored for over 17 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahan's beloved wife. Back to hotel for breakfast then proceed to visit Sikandra -It is home to Akbar's tomb. This grand monument was started by Akbar and completed by his son Jahangir. The mausoleum was started by Akbar in the Spartan style of Timurid architecture. Akbar's son Jahangir added more decorative designs to the mausoleum.

Agra Fort - the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566. At the Diwan-I-Am (hall of public audience), a colonnaded hall of red-sandstone with a throne alcove of inlaid marble at the back, the Emperor heard public petitions. At the Diwan-I-Khas (hall of private audience) where marble pavilions with floral inlays lend an ethereal ambience, the Emperor sat on his gem-studded Peacock Throne and met foreign ambassadors and rulers of friendly kingdoms.

From time immemorial, Bundelkhand has been an important destination for all sorts of tourists and travellers. The famous Chinese pilgrim, Hiuen Tsang, visited the area in the 7th century a.d. and gave a vivid account of the kingdom of ‘Jejakabhuti’, which corresponds to modern day Bundelkhand and a small part of Bagelkhand as well.. Later proceed to visit Jahangir Mahal - The most notable is the Jahangir Mahal, a tiered palace crowned by graceful chhatris. From here, the view of soaring temple spires and cenotaphs is spectacular. The richness of the Jahangir Mahal contrasts nicely with the austere beauty of the Raj Mahal, built by Madhukar Shah who was a religious-minded person.

Bundela School of Painting - complementing the noble proportions of the exteriors are the interiors that represent the finest flowering of the Bundela school of painting. For instance, in the Laxmi Narayan Temple, vibrant murals covering a wide variety of religious and secular themes bring the walls and ceilings alive.

Later proceed to visit Western Group of Temples- These groups of Khajuraho temples are entirely Hindu, and constitute some of the finest examples of Chandela art at its peak. The largest being the Kandhariya Mahadev, followed by a granite temple - Chaunsath Yogini. The Chitragupta Temple is dedicated to the Sun God, while the Vishwanath Temple sports a three-headed image of Brahma – the Creator of the Universe. The Lakshmana Temple is superbly decorated, while the Jagdambi Temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali. Other temples in the Western Group include the Varaha Temple with a nine-feet high boar-incarnation of Lord Vishnu, the Matangeshwara Temple with a eight-feet high lingam, and the Brahma Temple.

Eastern Group of Temples - This group of Khajuraho temples comprises of two historic Jain temples – the Adinath Temple lavishly embellished with sculpted figures, and the Parsvanath Temple, the largest Jain temple, sculpted with charming detail. There are other shrines such as the Vamana Temple with in sensuous poses, and the Javari Temple that has a richly-carved doorway.

Day 10/ Khajuraho - Bandhavgarh) After relaxed breakfast drive to Bandhavgarh - the land of Tigers. Bandhavgarh National Park is one of Finest Tiger reserve in Central India having the largest density of tigers in the world in its natural habitat. The forest of Bandhavgarh covers an area of about 449 sq. Km which is home to number avian species of birds and some of endangered species of animals in India.
