Brief History
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office 13 Building at Provincial Hospital Compound, Libertad, Butuan City has been the home of the able men and women of PDEA Trese for the past nine (9) years.
From its humble beginnings during the transition period in the year 2002, the PDEA Regional Office 13 used to hold Office adjacent to the Regional Highway Patrol Group (RHPG) 13 within the vicinity of the PNP Regional Office 13 Camp Rafael E. Rodriguez, Libertad, Butuan City.
It was in October 28, 2010 that the PDEA Regional Office 13 Building was inaugurated by the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) and the Joint Interagency Task Force West (JIATF West) who funded for the construction of the building.
Area of Responsibility
The PDEA Regional Office 13 caters to the whole of Caraga Region which is composed of five (5) provinces namely Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Dinagat Island, Surigao del Norte and Surigao del Sur. It has six (6) cities namely Butuan City which is the regional center, Cabadbaran, Bayugan, Surigao, Tandag and Bislig City. It also has sixty-seven (67) municipalities and 1,308 barangays.
