Group Talk Students will have six 45-minutes opportunities to interact with University of Memphis students in small groups. Specific tasks connected to the course content will guide these group meetings.

Project Work and Presentation Each week, each student will work in a small group to produce a video assignment. Students will use content provided in the course and do additional research to produce short videos on the course topics. The final presentation will allow the students to work individually or small groups to produce a final video on the topic that interested them the most. These videos will be introduced by the students and shown on the last day of the class.

Independent Work

Making use of the Learning Management System at the University of Memphis, students will have the opportunity to do additional vocabulary, grammar, reading, and listening activities. These online activities will complement the content of the course and will, in most instances, allow the students to get immediate feedback on their work. Time will also be built in for students to complete the weekly group projects and final project.
