This is an application for the grant of fresh regular permit in respect of KL-07-AX-5357 / suitable vehicle in place of KL-17-C-79 on the route Thottappally - Valiyazheeckal via Pallana, Thrikkunnappuzha, Pathiyankara, Arattupuzha, Kallikkadu and Perumpally for 5 years. On perusal of the file the Secretary RTA reported that there is no overlapping. Hence fresh regular permit in respect of KL-07-AX-5357 / suitable vehicle in place of KL-17-C- 79 on the route Thottappally - Valiyazheeckal via Pallana, Thrikkunnappuzha, Pathiyankara, Arattupuzha, Kallikkadu and Perumpally is granted for a period of 5 years subject to settlement of timings. The grantee is directed to produce the current records of KL-07-AX-5357/ suitable vehicle within one month from the date of communication otherwise the sanction will be revoked. Item No. : 02 Heard the learned counsel represented the applicant. This is an application for the grant of fresh regular permit in respect of stage carriage KL-18-H-7189 on the route Valiyazheeckal Temple – Kayamkulam Railway Station via Sivan Temple, Perumpally, ONK Junction KSRTC Junction and Private Bus Stand for 5 years. KSRTC objected the proposal on the basis of different judgments pronounced by Hon’ble Courts in similar cases. The objection was raised in connection with the violation of scheme in the notification No.G.O.(MS)156/67/PW dtd.27.07.1967, which need to be clarified by getting a detailed report on this count from the enquiry officer. Hence adjourned. Item No. : 03 Heard the learned counsel represented the applicant. This is an application for variation of regular permit in respect of S/C - KL 08 AL 4584 conducting service on the route Alappuzha - Andhakaranazhy via Thumpoly, Malikamukku, Thumpoly Church, Kattoor, Mararikulam, Arthunkal, Thaickal Beach and Ottamassery AS Alappuzha- South Chellanam via Malikamukku, Thumpoly Church, Kattoor, Mararikulam, Arthunkal, Thyckal Beach, Ottamassery, Azheekal, Pallithode. Direction of the Hon’ble STAT is complied by granting the variation subject to settlement of timings and clearing of all government dues if any. Item No. : 04 Heard the learned counsel represented for the applicant. This is an application for renewal of Regular Permit in respect of stage carriage KL-02- AG-4092 conducting service on the route Alappuzha Railway Station - Thoppumpady Via Alappuzha – Thumboly Jn – Mararikkulam – Arthunkal – Cherthala - Thanky Church – Azheekkal – Pallithodu – Chellanam – Kannamaly – Beach Road - Polakandam Market for a further period 5 years w.e.f 16.11.2019. This permit was issued prior to 14.07.2009 and is a long standing permit. Perused the file and no HPA exists. This is an inter district permit and concurrence is not needed. The application was filed in time as per Section 81(2) of MV Act. KSRTC has raised no objection regarding the renewal. STU has not filed any application on this route. This is an application for renewal of Regular Permit in respect of stage carriage KL-03- L-3055 conducting service on the route Cherthala – Vyttila via Ottapunna – Thavanakkadavu – Pallichanda – Poochakkal – Perumbalam – Arookutty - Aroor Temple - Aroor bridge - Kumbalam for a further period 5 years w.e.f 29.03.2020. This permit was issued on 26.10.2013 ie, after the date of publication of the notification GO(P) No. 42/2009/Trans dtd. 14.07.2009 and GO(P) No. 08/2017/Trans dtd. 23.03.2017. This is an application for renewal of Regular Permit in respect of stage carriage KL-09- W-323 conducting service on the route Arthuinkal – Ernakulam – Kaloor bus stand for a further period 5 years w.e.f 05.01.2020. This permit was issued prior to 14.07.2009 and is a long standing permit. Perused the file and no HPA exists. This is an inter district permit and concurrence is not needed. The application was filed in time as per Section 81(2) of MV Act. KSRTC has raised no objection regarding the renewal. STU has not filed any application on this route. This is an application for renewal of Regular Permit in respect of stage carriage KL 4 P 5427 on the route Sasthamkotta - Manivelikadavu via Bharanicavu, Chakkuvally, Sooranadu, Parakkadavu, Thamarakulam, Charumoodu, Kattanam, Kayamkulam, Pullukulangara for a further period of 5 years w.e.f . 04.08.2019. This permit was issued prior to 14.07.2009 and is a long standing permit. Perused the file and no HPA exists. This is an inter district permit and concurrence is not needed. The application was filed in time as per Section 81(2) of MV Act. KSRTC has raised no objection regarding the renewal. STU has not filed any application on this route. Hence the renewal of Regular Permit in respect of stage carriage KL 4 P 5427 on the route Sasthamkotta - Manivelikadavu via Bharanicavu, Chakkuvally, Sooranadu, Parakkadavu, Thamarakulam, Charumoodu, Kattanam, Kayamkulam, Pullukulangara is granted for a further period of 5 years w.e.f. 04.08.2019 subject to the clearance of all government dues. Item No. : 10 Heard the applicant. This is an application for renewal of Regular Permit in respect of stage carriage KL 10 AB 1451 on the route Charumoodu - Pandalam via Nooranadu, Padanilam, Edappon for a further period of 5 years w.e.f. 12.08.2019. This permit was issued prior to 14.07.2009 and is a long standing permit. Perused the file and no HPA exists. This is an inter district permit and concurrence is not needed. The application was filed in time as per Section 81(2) of MV Act. KSRTC has raised no objection regarding the renewal. STU has not filed any application on this route. Hence the renewal of Regular Permit in respect of stage carriage KL 10 AB 1451 on the route Charumoodu - Pandalam via Nooranadu, Padanilam, Edappon is granted for a further period of 5 years w.e.f. 12.08.2019 subject to the clearance of all government dues.

As per tourism statistics 2010, 58% of the domestic tourists are accounted by three districts namely Ernakulam, Thrissur and Thiruvananthapuram.
