A Q&A between kids in the classroom and the poet follows. Later the postcards became the book. Howard will briefly lead a game called Inky Pinky as an exercise in rhyming, and explain how he used Wikopedia and other library resources to be sure his animal poems were accurate. He would also show how "big" words (like hibernate in the bear poem) can be learned in context to improve vocabulary.
