2016 was the • 5th overall in East Midlands regional team’s first series proper go at • 15 EM Series podiums competing together • Team representation at other regional as a group events (West Midlands & Yorkshire focusing on regions) the EM series. We said that we didn’t • 2nd Biggest event in the region come to take part and proved many (Foremarke) of the doubters wrong exceeding all • 2nd place finisher in Boys TS2 at the expectations with an excellent 5th team East Midlands Series in the East Midlands Regional series, which is fair to say is one of the strongest • EM Development Squad Member regions in the country. • Best Looking Team

With 36 athletes ranging from 8-15 we began our journey in April 2016 with “kit night” where we dished out the top of the range team kit to look ‘proper pro’. It’s fair to say that we raised the bar on the circuit in this department. We continue to encourage all the juniors to train with the East Midlands single discipline clubs, which proves to be the best training environment and then come together as a unit and support all team mates on. A number of open water/transition Team Standings specific training was provided successfully. We were extremely visible both with team kit and atmosphere with everyone providing masses of 1. Ketton Tri encouragement and were often the biggest represented 2. 4Life Tri (Notts) team at many events. 3. Absolute Tri (Notts) 4. Lincoln Tri Both individual and team performances improved as 5. Finally I would like to thank all the many sponsors (many that remained anonymous) and especially to Cuda Bikes, which ensured that we remained at the leading edge of comfort, style & fashion. I know that 2017 will exceed 2016 now that we have dipped our toe and we will see us achieving even greater things whilst having fun!
