OAKLAND NOTES  The Oakland Athletics recorded their seventh “walk-off” win, which is four more than their total from last year…are 15-10 in games decided in the seventh inning or later, including 11-9 in the last at bat…are now 5-2 in extra inning games…have a five-game winning streak, which matches their season- high…are 42-42 on the season, the first time they have been .500 since May 22 (22-22)…are 20-12 over the last 32 games (since June 2) after losing a season-high nine consecutive contests…are 4-0 on this six-game homestand against Boston (3-0) and Seattle (1-0) that leads into the All-Star Break.  The A’s have homered in each of the past 16 games (21 home runs total)…that is the longest streak by an A’s team since April 12-May 1, 2002 when they homered in 17 straight contests.  Tommy Milone recorded a career-high nine (previous: 6, three times; last: June 30 at Texas)…has allowed one earned run or fewer in each of his last four starts and is 2-1 with a 0.96 ERA (3 er in 28.0 ip) over that span…is 1-1 with a 2.25 ERA (5 er in 20.0 ip) in three starts against Seattle.  A’s starting have now allowed one earned run or fewer in each of the last seven games, which is the longest such streak in Oakland history…since 1921, the only time Athletics starting pitchers have allowed one earned run or fewer in more than seven consecutive games was from Sept. 9-18, 1966 when the Kansas City A’s did it in eight straight games.  Jordan Norberto recorded his first Major League win.  Chris Carter (1 for 1) hit his first career “walk-off” home run…it is his third home run in four games with the A’s this year.
