N December 8, 1904, from the owner’s house at Vauxhall street, Colombo : 1 silver brooch with the mosque of O Agra, 1 silver brooch with tiger claws, 2 silver brooches, 1 silver locket, 1 gold ring set with back stones, 1 silver bracelet, 1 silk blouse with lace yoke, 6 table knives with white handles, 8 silverplated forks, 4 white jackets, 1 pink striped jacket, 2 shirts, 1 gold ring ornamented with African engraving, 1 glove button hook witli enamelled handle, 1 charm with a miniature post card, 1 table cover, 1 revolver bearing license No. 2,027, and Rs. 2 in cash. Owner, Mr. H. J. Jansen. On December 26, 1904, from the jinricksha stand at , , Colombo : a plain varnished jinricksha. Owner, Bulatsinghalage Porolis Appu. On December 27, 1904, from a room at the District Judge’s bungalow, , Guile: a thin gold neoklaoe with pendant, a yellow topaz set with small pearls round. Owner, Miss Baumgartner.

FOUND. N December 27,1904, at Alutmawata : a white terrier dog with a black patch on the right side of the face, O height about 1 ft. 6 in., tail out short, has a leather collar on the neck.
