NEW SPECIES AND NEW RECORDS OF CONIOPTERYGIDAE FROM NORTH CHINA ()

Abstract Three new species and four new records from north China are described in this pa- per. Genus HeLicoconis is reported in China for the first time. All the type specimens are kept in the Collections of China Agricultural University.

1. Helicoconis ( Helicoconis ) lutea ( Wallengren, 1871) (Fig. 1) Iqew Record : Hebei, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Ningxia, Gansu.

2. Coniopteryx (Coniopteryx) parthenia (Navas & Marcet, 1910) (Fig. 2) New Record: Liaoning, Hebei, Beijing, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Ningxia, Gansu .

3. Coniopteryx ( Coniopteryx ) arctica sp. nov. (Fig. 3) Very similar to C. ( C. ) aspocki Kis, but can be distinguished by the antennae with 22-25 segments, the flagellar segments much broader than long, and male genitalis of the two species are also different. Holotype 6,allotype 9 , paratypes 6 6 6 & 4 $ ? , Nei-Mongol : Tumd Right B. , 1978-VII-21; paratypes 8 dfi d & 13 ? 9, Beijing, 1964-VII-7/8 ; Hebei, Jixian, 1976- VIII-5.

4. Coniopteryx ( Coniopteryx) choui sp. nov. (Fig. 4) It is allied to C. ( C. ) goniocera Meinander, but parameres not curved deeply, and male antennae not bending upwards. Holotype d,allotype 9, paratype 19, Gansu: Tianshui, 1964-VI-2.

5. Coniopteryx ( Coniopteryx ) vittiformis sp . nov . ( Fig. 5 ) It is similar to C. ( C. ) choui sp. nov., but can be distinguished by the very broad hind branch of styli. Holotype d,allotype 9, paratypes 399, Jilin: Tonghua, 1983-MI-31.

6. Coniopteryx ( Xeroconiopteryx ) mongolica Meinander , 1969 (Fig. 6) New Record: Ningxia, Beijing .
