Ehhhh… So who really dunit?? Spoiler: nobody bloody caaaaarress! Nor does anyone question how exactly Bruce Wayne could escape Blackgate. This edition collects the 3 previously released collections of the Fugitive storyline and is probably the way to go if you are interested in the entire story. This whodunit comes to a somewhat satisfying conclusion with the ultimate reveal occurring about halfway through the book. The remainder of Batman: Bruce Wayne Fugitive collection addresses the fallout that follows. It was OK. Probably is better for someone with a little bit of knowledge regarding the characters involved and their prior history with Bats. The thing I appreciated most about this collection were some of the one and two issue arcs that stood out from the rest and were a lot of Batman: Bruce Wayne Fugitive. As expected, the stuff by Ed, Greg, Geoff, and Kelly appealed to me the most. The art chores were handled by several artists that I am very fond of. Some highlights were Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips of Criminal fame doing a one issue standalone together that was pretty sweet, Scott McDaniel drawing Nightwing and Deadshot again, and a couple of really cool Batgirl issues. Fans of Bruce Wayne Murderer? Otherwise, I dug most of this edition and would recommend this as a follow up to Bruce Wayne Murderer? Aug 26, Tom Ewing rated it really liked it. Not a masterpiece, but I handed it an extra star for bringing back bittersweet memories of when Batman and DC in general had strong writers allowed to work through grounded plots with coherent editorial planning. Nov 17, Batman: Bruce Wayne Fugitive Rashmit Mishra rated it really liked it Shelves: comics-graphic-novelcrime-mysteryadventureaction. The Concluding Chapter of the Fugitive sagaanswers a lot of questions and delivers on some points and even brings back some light into the life of Bruce Wayne and yet on many level it falls a little flat in comparison to it's predecessor which I reviewed HERE! But aside from the simple conclusion of the story there were many other good things going for this series. One of the key things that was specially endearing for this book was the book focused Batman: Bruce Wayne Fugitive the possibility of a world with no Bruce Wayne and just a ColdCalculated and more Effective Batman. The book delves into why the world needs Bruce Wayne as much as it needed Batman and does it spectacularly. In the end the best thing that the book did was humanize Batman and bring a ray of hope and light back into the character that seemed to have disappeared since the events of No Man Land and Death of Jason Todd and Paralysis of Barbara Gordon. What I Didn't Like : For as good as the mysterythe Humanizing and characterization maybe the book was dulled out for some strange reason and this was done by addition of lots of irrelevant and off topic filler stories. This broke the rhythm of the story one too many Batman: Bruce Wayne Fugitive and became quite annoying. Some Batman: Bruce Wayne Fugitive the actions of various characters also didn't make much sense on many point and the whole Sasha thing was also very weird and abrupt. The Art was just horrible and inconsistent and I have talked about it in my part 1 review as wellthe reason for the inconsistency was the amount of artists used Batman: Bruce Wayne Fugitive the story spanning through multiple issues. The various art styles were very annoying and most of the art styles were actually pretty bad. Part of the charm behind the book was readers pondering how Batman will get out of this whole mess and then get his name cleared without revealing he is Batman and the first part was Batman: Bruce Wayne Fugitive very well but the part about clearing Bruce Wayne's name was done very abruptly and felt pretty anti-climatic Conclusions: While the first Batman: Bruce Wayne Fugitive of this epic and lengthy story was very much one of the best plot-wisethis book fell short because of it's filler stories that kept breaking the rhythm of the book. That said the overall mystery and the key plot was really nice and the story was still very good and I would still recommend the two part books for Batman fans, but compared to how good the first book was, the 2nd one was a little flat and it became a somewhat above average book instead of what promised to be a superb story Oct 15, Ahmed H. Bruce Wayne and his bodyguard Sasha something are suspected of murdering Vesper Lynd, she of the radio show. Actually the murder happened in Bruce Wayne, Murderer? By the time I figured out it didn't, I was Batman: Bruce Wayne Fugitive caring. And in any case, Batman: Bruce Wayne Fugitive not all that hard to Batman: Bruce Wayne Fugitive it together. What did get left off was why the Bat Fam minus Oracle suspected him in the first p Bruce Wayne and his bodyguard Sasha something are suspected of murdering Vesper Lynd, she of the radio show. What did get left off was why the Bat Fam minus Oracle suspected him in the first place, but they did. In this collection, they decide to recreate the murder and see if they can figure out who did it. In this edition, Bruce Wayne has supposedly skipped out of the country, and Sasha is serving her sentence because she's loyal that way. I liked who the killer was, and one of the Bat Family member's reaction to that. I also liked Sasha. Bruce Wayne: Fugitive - Wikipedia

How much more Noir can you get? This is actually a pretty fast Batman: Bruce Wayne Fugitive installment in the Fugitive storyline from the early 's! Bruce is still on the run since being called out as a murderer but we soon find Batman wanting to finally clear his name. With the help of his family and some rough justice, he's able to finally get the answers he needs to be free. When we find out who the killer is, all things break loose, and Batman has a I mean, you have Greg Rucka and Ed Brubaker writing Batman. When we find out who the killer is, all things break loose, and Batman has a plan one might not expect! Good: The art is early 's for sure, but I love it. I also enjoyed Bruce here, as a man on the verge of losing everything, he seems Batman: Bruce Wayne Fugitive and tus creates some great tension filled beatdown scenes. The family moments are well done, and surprisingly there's some funny moments to be had. I also liked the fight at the end a lot. Bad: The storyline seems to have wrapped up, yet there's another volume? Also, even if read volume 1, there's some loose story threads that don't make too much Batman: Bruce Wayne Fugitive. It'll make you go "who's that? Overall, a fun followup to a good volume 1. I have no clue where volume 3 will take us, but this has been a nice surprise. View 2 comments. Batman: Bruce Wayne, Fugitive is a story arc that ran through the various Batman family comic book series that was published by DC Comics. The storyline centers Batman: Bruce Wayne Fugitive Bruce Wayne being charged and arrested with the murder of Vesper Fairchild — his current girlfriend. Unable to stay put, Bruce Wayne escapes from prison and abandons his alter ego and become Batman full time. Bruce Wayne has been arrested for the crime of killing his girlfriend Vesper Fairchild and is on the lam. It is up to Batman and his allies to find out who did it. Greg Rucka, Judd Winick, Devin Grayson, and Ed Brubaker wrote the majority of the trade paperback and Batman: Bruce Wayne Fugitive the most part, I Batman: Bruce Wayne Fugitive enjoyed the narrative. Some issues were better than others were, but overall it was somewhat well planned and written. It took a while, but it is finally discovered that Bruce Wayne was framed, but who did it remains a mystery and only those closest to Batman believes this. With so many pencilers, it is rather difficult to grade the overall artistic flow. For the most part this hodgepodge of pencilers has similar styles with few exceptions and that the flow of the artistic style flowed rather smoothly with a few sudden jerks. May 01, Shaun Stanley rated it liked it. These issues focus on a storyline where Gothamites are falling ill and dying from poisoned cocaine. What Batman: Bruce Wayne Fugitive to be a side story in the investigation ends up providing clues to Bruce to solve his mystery. Reading this series has been been a breathe of fresh air because it centers on Batman and his allies detective prowess. Batman: Bruce Wayne Fugitive 15, Anchorpete rated it it was ok. What a great story Detail Batman can no longer take the problems connected to Bruce Wayne, so he stops being Bruce Wayne altogether. I enjoy the fact that Checkmate is referenced in the book and that Lex Luthor is involved in the plot to take down Bruce Wayne, but still, it was a chore to get through this book. I still love Rucka, though Dec 04, Ryan Mishap rated it liked it Shelves: batman-et-al. It says "Volume Batman: Bruce Wayne Fugitive but this starts with "Bruce Wayne Murderer? Meanwhile, his body guard and maybe someone Bruce cared about a great deal is convicted of the murder and sent to prison. Batman has pushed everyone away and refuses to clear the name of his alter ego. It is up to the rest of the team to follow the evidence and do it, then. Despite being a collection of stories from three or four diffe It says "Volume 1" but Batman: Bruce Wayne Fugitive starts with "Bruce Wayne Murderer? Despite being a collection of stories from three or four different comic runs, this three volume set was fairly coherent. I'm usually dismayed by these collections because they make little sense if you haven't been folllowing the monthly comics, but the larger story arc here allows the casual reader access. Some of the art is flat out amazing--plenty of good Batman poses. Mar 10, Batman: Bruce Wayne Fugitive Mikols rated it liked it Shelves: batman. The story slowed down and refused to pick up the pace over the next two volumes and we were treated to a very in depth, CSI mystery that moved at a crawling pace. Honestly, I don't remember much of the second volume alreay, as most of it was the Bat family reiterating the Bruce could be the murderer. This volume started to move much faster, but it took Batman getting back in the game to do so. While the Batman: Bruce Wayne Fugitive volume had me wondering who the real murderer was, the second caused me to stop caring, and this volume spoiled the whole thing hint: don't look at the cover. Considering that was the only thing I was really into near the end, knowing who did it was a letdown. As a whole, the story is good, in pieces, it flounders. Aug 15, sixthreezy rated it it was amazing Shelves: batmandc. Bruce Wayne, Fugitive is easily one of the best Batman stories I have ever read, and I still have one last volume to go. The Batman: Bruce Wayne Fugitive volume set up really nicely, and just about everything there is paid off in this volume. I find this story extremely suspenseful for the main fact that it is not Batman that is at the heart of this story, it is Bruce himself. Bruce Wayne: Fugitive | DC Database | Fandom
