Wednesday, June 14, 2017 Page 1 of 21 Electoral History for Lunenburg West Lunenburg West Chapter 27 of the 1955 Statutes of Nova Scotia for 1955 divided the County of Lunenburg into three electoral districts: Lunenburg East, Lunenburg Centre, and Lunenburg West.

Lunenburg West consisted of that portion of the County of Lunenburg contained in the polling districts Eight, Nine, Thirteen and Fifteen, and the town of Bridgewater Berwick (SNS 1955, c. 27, s. ???).

In 2003, Lunenburg West lost an area south of Highway 103 from Risser's Beach Provincial Park to the Queens County line, including Italy Cross (SNS, 2002 c. 34).

In 2013, following the recommendations of the 2012 Electoral Boundaries Commission, this district regained the remainder of Lunenburg County from Queens. Member Elected Election Date Party Elected Furey, Mark Ignatius 30-May-2017 Liberal
