Reorganization of New Territories Green Minibus (GMB) Route Nos. 807A, 807B, 807K and 807P under “GMB Route No. 807 Series” and Introduction of Supplementary Express Route Nos. 807X and 807S

Members of the public are advised that with effect from 1 April 2018 (Sunday) , the four routes of the GMB route no. 807 series will be rationalised, and supplementary express route no. 807X (Wu Kai Sha Station - University Station) and route no. 807S (Tai Tung Tsuen, Sai Sha Road - University Station), which will be a morning-peak-only route, will be introduced. Details are as follows:

(A) GMB Route No. 807A

(I) Route Revision

Ma On Shan bound: The terminal point is relocated from Ma On Shan Station (Bayshore Towers Public Transport Interchange) to Sai Sha Road outside Bayshore Towers.

University Station bound: Divert via Ma On Shan Road and omit Heng On Station and Yan On Estate. The section from Chung On Estate to Yan On Estate along the original University Station-bound routeing will be covered by the new Route No. 807C.

(A fare discount of $0.5 is offered to passengers using Octopus cards and paying a section fare of $5.0 or $6.3 to interchange between route no. 807B and MTR service at Ma On Shan Station or Wu Kai Sha Station until 31 December 2018.)

The operator will provide Octopus interchange concessions for route no. 807B so that affected passengers are only required to pay the original fares (the sum of the fares of the two journeys which is the same as the current fare of $8.0 at Wong Chuk Wan, $7.5 at Tai Tung Tsuen and $7.2 at Nai Chung) when interchanging at: - Tai Tung Tsuen, Sai Sha Road (during morning peak hours on weekdays) for new supplementary express route no. 807S (Tai Tung Tsuen, Sai Sha Road – University Station)); - Wu Kai Sha Station (for new supplementary express route no. 807X (Wu Kai Sha Station – University Station)); or - Ma On Shan Station for route nos. 807A or 807C.

The total fare for passengers using Octopus and making the following interchange is $7.5: - From Route 807B to Routes 807A/807C/807X for journey from Tai Tung Tsuen to University Station - From Routes 807A/807C/807X to Route 807B for journey from University Station to Tai Tung Tsuen

The total fare for passengers using Octopus and making the following interchange is $7.2: - From Route 807B to Routes 807A/807C/807X for journey from Nai Chung to University Station - From Routes 807A/807C/807X to Route 807B for journey from University Station to Nai Chung

Concession fare of $7.2 will be offered to passengers interchanging between Route 807B (for the section between Tai Tung and Che Ha only) and Route 807A/807C/807X until 30 June 2018.

To be eligible for the above fare concessions, both legs should be paid by the same Octopus Card and the second leg must be made within 60 minutes from the boarding time of the first leg. The card should not be used to travel on other GMB routes or any other transport modes between the above-mentioned journeys.

(I) Route Revision

Tseng Tau-bound will observe a stop at Sai Sha Road outside Bayshore Towers in lieu of the stop at Ma On Shan Station (Bayshore Towers Public Transport Interchange).

(D) GMB Route No. 807P

(I) Re-number of the Route The route is re-numbered as 807C.

(II) Mode of Operation The mode of operation would be converted from evening-peak only service to whole-day service.

University-bound journey is introduced: MA ON SHAN STATION (BAYSHORE TOWERS PUBLIC TRANSPORT INTERCHANGE) to UNIVERSITY STATION: via On Chun Street, On Yuen Street, Sai Sha Road, Hang Fai Street, Hang Yiu Street, Hang Tai Road, Sai Sha Road, Ma On Shan Road, Tate’s Cairn Highway and Chak Cheung Street.

Ma On Shan bound: The terminal point is relocated from On Chun Street to Ma On Shan Station (Bayshore Towers Public Transport Interchange).
