Dear Families
Our Academy is one which is led by its values and high expectations of every person, child or adult, who are a part of our community.
I have now been lucky enough to be the Headteacher of this Academy for over 5 years and in that time we have made many improvements all driven by our deeply felt values and determination to succeed. The children that leave us are now better prepared than they have ever been, and find further success at high school and beyond as a result of a broad and interesting curriculum.
Our excellent teachers not only enable children to reach at least expected national standards, but also help children develop other important skills such as teamwork, leadership, ambition, determination, respect and high personal expectations. All of this whilst maintaining a calm, friendly learning environment where children feel confident enough to be creative and develop new ideas.
With careful planning children are able to practice and learn skills in a variety of situations from school trips (including a week long residential) to Whole School Culture Days and outdoor environmental studies. During their time in our Academy children have many opportunities to engage with the arts, learn about the environment, experience different cultures and most importantly – remain happy, well and enjoy learning.
As a team we work hard to support parents. We operate an open door policy; if you need to speak to a member of staff at any time – you can! We also have specific teams who can support children and parents in most situations all with the aim of developing confident, happy children who are successful learners. Our links with parents are vital as between all of us we will enable your children to grow, succeed and be in a position to be the person they want to be with the future they wish to have.
We would be pleased to show parents around our Academy, so that the atmosphere and ethos can be experienced first hand.

Our Academy is of a growing family of schools who are part of the Diocese of Norwich Education and Academies Trust (DNEAT).
Our funding comes from the Government via DNEAT and we are accountable to the trustees of the DNEAT board.
As an Academy we are allowed to design our own curriculum, however we currently follow the National Curriculum.
We are still inspected by OFSTED and receive support from the educational specialists from DNEAT and Edison Education.
