From the Retreat Office Lessons learned from the grandchildren: sharing your love is always fruitful. Dad had a bad day at work. Everything went wrong and the family heard about it that evening. The next day, Mary (who is 4) gave Dad not one but two of her prized stuffed animals to take to work. She was sure it would make his day go better. It did. Retreats:We are entering the summer season – usually fewer retreats as we have no a.c. on the retreat floor, and every- one is on vacation or doing family activities. Praise God for hardy individuals! This summer, we are busier than we have ever been with folks willing to sacrifice their comfort to grow closer to God. Pray for them that the discomfort they experience may benefit them. We do accept individual retreatants in house during the sum- mer in air conditioned suites, if you would like to make a pilgrimage to OLHSC. Contact me for details and timing. We have some spaces open on our retreat floor the weekend The Bell Tower roof is missing tiles and needs of the Our Lady of Fatima celebration on May 13th.
