22 21-09-2019

Innovation Project:- Reducing dependency on DX unit.

➢ Tried different methods for operating AHU of OT and ICU.

1. 240 TR chiller at 5 deg C and DX unit. With this the complete building temp went to lower side. 2. 240 TR at 8 deg C with DX unit for OT. In this case ICU temp stayed upto 24 deg C. 3. At last we made 75 TR chiller in series with 240 TR chiller. We operated 240 TR at 8 deg C and that input was given to 75 TR chiller.

Partners in health Medeor © All Rights Reserved 2018

CHILLER & DX UNIT

➢Process flow is shown in the previous slide.

➢Where earlier we were operating chiller of 180 TR x 2 = 360 TR 75 TR x 1 = 75 TR 10 TR x 6 ( DX unit) = 60 TR.

Load reduced to 240 + 75 = 315 TR.
