The production will employ 501 New Mexico crew members, 20 New Mexico actors, and 2,163 New Mexico background talent. The feature is directed and produced by Zack Snyder (“Watchmen,” “Man of Steel,” “300”) alongside producers Deborah Snyder (“Watchmen,” “Man of Steel,” “300”) and Wesley Coller (“Watchmen,” “Man of Steel,” “300”). In “Army of the Dead” Snyder returns to his directorial roots, offering this zombie- adventure film. “Army of the Dead” follows a group of mercenaries who, following a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas, take the ultimate gamble, venturing into the quarantine zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted. “Netflix is making good on its promise, as part of the 2018 partnership with New Mexico, to bring $1 billion dollars in production to New Mexico over the next 10 years and create up to 1,000 production jobs a year,” said Cabinet Secretary Alicia J.     FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE JURIES ANNOUNCED FOR 2015 TRIBECA FILM FESTIVAL *** Jurors Include Dylan McDermott, Cobie Smulders, Whoopi Goldberg, Gloria Steinem, Vanessa Williams, Steve Buscemi, Shelia Nevins, Debi Mazar, HanK Azaria, Mamie Gummer, MarK Boal, and Joana Vicente New York, NY [April 6, 2015] – The 2015 Tribeca Film Festival (TFF), presented by AT&T, today announced its jurors – a diverse group of 34 industry leaders, including award-winning filmmakers, producers, acclaimed actors, authors and entrepreneurs. The jury will be divided among the seven competitive Festival categories. The winning films, filmmakers and actors in each category will be announced at the TFF Awards Night ceremony on April 23 at Spring Studios. The 2015 Festival runs from April 15 –26. “The group of unique voices and perspectives that make up this year’s jury are sure to spark thoughtful discussion – and perhaps some friendly debate – around this year’s films,” said Jane Rosenthal, co-founder of the Tribeca Film Festival. The seven TFF juries will award $150,000 in cash and prizes. Announced earlier this year, eight of the winners will also receive a work of original art by an acclaimed artist as part of the Tribeca Film Festival Artists Awards program, sponsored by CHANEL. In addition to the Festival’s main competition juries, the five jurors for the third annual $25,000 Nora Ephron Prize, sponsored by Coach, recognizing a female writer or director, were also announced. SETUP: Lincoln Jefferson is a Marine veteran who has served two combat tours in Iraq. Now stateside, he works as a custodian in a prestigious California high school- a job he secured only to ensure enrollment in the school to his 14-year old son KJ, following his divorce. One night, Lincoln and his son are stopped by police and an altercation leads to the fatal shooting of Lincoln’s unarmed son. Lincoln, hopeful the system will provide a trial, is dismayed to learn the officer responsible for pulling the trigger will go uncharged and will return to active duty without an indictment. Disillusioned by the fact he was denied a fair trial for the death of his only son, Lincoln desperately takes the matter into his own hands in a series of events he hopes will finally lead to justice for his son.
