Curry held High-A Central League the Loons to three hits, walked one and struck out four. The Captains scored two runs in the third on a José Tena single and added a run in the fourth on a throwing error by Loons right fielder Andy Pages. Lake County tacked on East Division W L GB three runs in the seventh on an RBI triple by Julian Escobedo, an RBI single by Christian Cairo and a wild pitch. Jerson Ramirez inherited a bases loaded situation in the ninth and recorded the final two outs to earn the save and Great Lakes (Los Angeles - NL) 53 46 -- secure the win for Curry. LAKE COUNTY (Cleveland) 53 46 -- PRESSURE PACKED: The last nine Captains games have featured opponents in the top two spots in the High-A Dayton (Cincinnati) 51 47 1.5 Central East Division standings. Every game has pitted the Captains against a team within 1.0 game of Lake County in the standings.
